The Lanier Company, founded to bring dictating machines - the latest technology in document creation - to the Southeast.

1950’s

Technology had moved us into the document copying business and we began selling 3M copiers in the Southeast, soon expanding to encompass the entire country as Lanier Business Products.

1980’s

Partnership becomes Harris/Lanier and then Harris/3M, the world’s largest independent dealer of office equipment.

1987

Gene Milner establishes Milner, Inc. to serve the document needs of Southeastern businesses with rapidly changing technologies.

1989

MILNER acquires RMS

MILNER acquires System Solutions

MILNER acquires fax operation from Lanier
